Travel Journal | Lombok from the Air | 2017
Lombok is an extremely beautiful island. One major reason why it is so is because it's relatively unknown when compared to its big sister, Bali; which means it's less crowded, less commercialised and infinitely more peaceful. I highly urge you to go before it becomes too popular. Not only that, it's extremely close to the Gili islands which have some of the most crystal clear waters you'll ever see.
I recently returned from absolutely amazing wedding at the wonderful Jeeva Klui resort on Lombok and I was awestruck from how peaceful the resort and island is and wanted to show you all some select shots and a video from my brief time on the island.
Instead of bringing out my DSLR (I did - but used it mainly for the wedding), for my landscape shots I used my drone instead and managed to capture, what I believe, some amazing shots.
