Photos 08 | Jewel at Changi Airport + (Bonus Burger & Lobster)
I had a surplus of days off from work, so I decided to spend one of them spending the day exploring Jewel at Changi Airport, Singapore
If you don’t already know, Jewel is a new mega complex in the centre of Changi Airport, linking to 3 terminals. In the centre of Jewel, is the world’s tallest indoor waterfall, the HSBC rain vortex.
The place gives off an almost Jurassic Park vibe - an entire ecosystem housed inside what is basically a massive greenhouse (although it’s very temperate inside). Aside from the rain vortex, there’s a whole shopping centre which includes an IMAX cinema, hotels, restaurants…all in the middle of one of the busiest airports in the world.
If you’re visiting Singapore, or even just transiting, go visit this - it’s completely unique and out of this world.
(I also have some photos from the food of Burger & Lobster but I already reviewed their London branch [click here] previously, so I won’t write it up again).
Enjoy!
